- Magazines or old comics–bright pictures lots of color make for better beads
- a spindle to wrap your beads on (we used heavy wire)
- scissors
- mod podge
- and a brush to get gluey
- some kind of drying rack
Directions:
Cut the paper into long triangular strips

the wide end will determine how wide your bead, the length how fat your bead will be in the end
try not to mod podge the bead to the spindle, or (like I did) you might destroy the bead pulling it off. You want to glue the paper to itself

wrap the paper around the spindle first to get it to start the curling process, then apply the mod podge

mod podge down one side of the strip

wrap it around the spindle and add glue as you go

coat the entire bead in the mod podge to seal it all up (don’t glue it to the spindle)
let it dry

drying rack: took a sheet of foam core (maybe half a sheet of paper in size) scored a line about an inch in from the edges and folded up. cut slots to wedge the wire spindles into
